Wicked New York Show
What should I wear to a Broadway show?
I’m a fifteen-year-old girl, and my dad bought tickets for my cousin (who is also my age), three adults, and myself, to see Wicked on Broadway, when we go to New York in August. I know that I am supposed to dress nice, but I’m not exactly sure what to wear. Does anyone (especially teenage girls) have any suggestions? Links and stores would be nice.

How you dress really depends on where your seats are. The further back you are, the less you’re supposed to dress up. You don’t need to get head to toe dressed up either no matter where you sit. Jeans are normally acceptable in fact. But you can’t go wrong with a nice skirt and cute top, or a dress that’s less then semi formal but more then a sundress. Heels are always good too. And remember, it gets cold so if you’re not wearing sleeves bring a sweater or shrug. I personally would wear a knee length printed skirt and a plain top that matches it. If the show’s in the evening, wear dark colors. If it’s a matinee wear lighter colors and you can also go with something more casual.
