Upcoming Shows In Las Vegas
Any tips for the trip to Las Vegas?
My husband and I are going to Las Vegas together in the coming months and try to plan, indicating to see and do to while we are there. We are both from Florida and have never been to Nevada, Las Vegas, never mind this should be a fun experience, especially as we without our Son on the road (it is our wedding anniversary years so this is a romantic weekend for 4 days, only the two of us are – the longest I have ever of my little guy yet) been. We want a tour to the Grand Canyon and see Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam …. If we could all do on a tour that would be ideal. If anyone has ever been or any Reviews I would like to hear. We stay at Treasure Island thinking and would like to see one of Cirque's shoes … Melissa M. Key Largo, FL
I live in Las Vegas, and it is a really just a stone's throw away from many beautiful places! The Hoover Dam is very close – only 20 minutes. Parking can be a bit like be a nightmare, but if you get the chance to be on the dam, it looks very impressive! You may walk over them, and they let you know if the limit to cross into Arizona. You can go about it, even if you like. Lake Mead is not really all it is cracked up to be. At one end it's all loud and noisy and party like … and most people on the boats are drunken idiots. And then at the other end of it as the middle of nowhere with ugly looking water. Therefore, I would give you advised to skip it. The Grand Canyon is very nice, although not as impressive as you might think. Each suggests the South Rim. But while the South Rim beautiful is there is really only a glance – you can walk all the way around the site and it is not different. There is nothing to do other than that, it's more of a Waste of time. North Rim is beautiful. The lodge is very nice and has a fantastic restaurant (with a view!) And a nice sitting area – there are many trails for hiking, if this or you can just sit down and look over the edge like. There are also many shops to check in the small village (which is really everything except the Lodge, but it seems like a small city). North Rim is also a day trip (it's going in the morning in the late afternoon) while South Rim would you stay there. If you love to see things like this, I propose Valley of Fire and Red Rock Canyon – they are in Nevada and are not very far at all from the strip. They make beautiful excursions and shows beautiful picture perfect scenes. Zion National Park and Death Valley are also day trips from Las Vegas, Death Valley and the Candy Company has the most delicious sweets ever! This is in Beatty. Also on the way out to Death Valley, there is a ghost town called rhyolite, which is pretty cool. Iceland's Treasure to remain a nice place, although the Arcade has a strange smell in her … it is more smoky than some of the other hotels, and there are some strange perfume fragrance, not all that comfortable there. Normally I would think it was just someone playing there but it has fragrance every time I went was! Beatles Love – I have the Cirque de Soleil seen. It was amazing! The only thing I have to say about the Cirque shows in general is that they are very active with the audience – no, they do not drag it on the stage, but clowns do not leave the people at the lower levels alone, and they splash it with water at one of the shows … if you do not like something I would suggest not go. The exhibits can be seen beautiful things, the Titanic exhibition at the Tropicana is a beautiful piece of history, and show the body is spectacular … and the wax museum is very nice. And do not forget that the little things – the sharks at Mandalay Bay, the lions at the MGM, the fountains of Bellagio (the is free), and the garden at the Mirage. The Phantom of the Opera show at the Venetian – I think it's even better than the Broadway production! And of course, if a romantic activity want the gondola ride through the Venetian is really amazing. Of course, you will not be able to see all this in 4 days, but that just means you will have some time to come back!
