NYC summons, Marijuana, i need help, please?

I’m 17 , and turning 18 on the 8th of august. on the 11th of july i was pulled over at 445 in the morning on w147st and broadway. i had been in the city earlier but had left late and was on my way home with two of my friends. The cop pulls me over, and says he pulled me over for my liscence plate lights being out and my window tint. I give him my liscence and registration and he asks if theres anything in the car, i say no and he starts searching. He finds my pipe and marijuana. It was only about 1gram of marijuana, and he also finds my fishing knife and i got a ticket for that too. he also have my two friends tickets for the pot and the knife. and we all have summons to court on the 11th and 4th of september. my question is does anyone have an idea what the outcome will be? do i need a lawyer? am i going to have to tell my parents because im turning 18? i didnt get arrested, he just gave us a summons. I need help please, i have no one to help me with this. I am begging for guidance.

from what I know marijuana is only a misdemeanor.
