Tickets To Broadway Shows

buying broadway tickets cheap!?

I am planning to go to NY to see a broadway show on this saturday.
I know that they sell tickets cheaply if I go there before the show to buy tickets.
But I do not know exactly when they start selling the tickets.

If you go to www.broadwaybox.com right now you can see a list of shows that have current discounts and buy tickets ahead of time – or print out the code and go directly to each shows individual box office that morning at 10am when they open, avoiding having to wait in the TKTS line to get a discount ticket. The booth is under the red stairs in Duffy Square.

If you really want to do the TKTS booth…it opens to sell the 2pm shows at 10AM, and 8pm shows at 3pm. The lines for both form much earlier than that. Depending on the day the wait in line can be quite long.

I live in Manhattan and I never stand in that crazy line, I always use broadwaybox -either online or printing the code and taking it to the box office of the show in question.
