Tickets To A Broadway Show
Good Broadway Show for a guy?
I asked for broadway show tickets for christmas because it is the only way I could get my husband to go. He thinks he won’t like it. What is a good show to take a guy to see? I heard good things about Wicked but someone else said it was a girly one. Any suggestions? Also, Do they sing through the ENTIRE play in all musicals? I saw rent and it was distracting that they sang even when they were just having a conversation. I think it would drive him crazy.
Wicked is pretty girly. Spamalot is a good one for guys. Young Frankenstein would be a good one too. My boyfriend and I went and saw the Drowsy Chaperone and he really liked it, and he really liked Curtains too.
I won tickets to see the Broadway show Rent!

Based on Gregory Maguire’s novel of the same name, Wicked tells us what happened between Glinda the Good and Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, before Dorothy showed up in Oz. … |

Mamma Mia! The Musical Based on the Songs of ABBA: Original Cast Recording (1999 London Cast) $8.84 Put together by Abba’s own Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! manages to cram over 20 of the Swedish supergroup’s songs into a threadbare plot. It goes a little like this: Young Sophie is getting married and she’s trying to identify which of three men is her father. That’s about it. Wisely, the musical doesn’t mess around with the songs, save for the insertion of some dialogue or for h… |
