When collecting musical tickets bought online, do I need to have a printed receipt?
I bought tickets online to see Mamma Mia in London tomorrow but didn’t print out the receipt. When I go to the theatre to collect them, do I need to show them the printed receipt? I thought they would send a confirmation email but didn’t so I don’t know what I can do in that case
If you do not have any proof of purchase it is very possible you have been sold short by a rogue trader.
False ticket sellers are a massive problem when buying online and i myself have had experiences with U2 tour ticket sellers and lost A LOT of money. Before you jump to any conclusions though get in touch the the seller (this will be much easier if you bought from a major selling site e.g www.ticketmaster.co.uk or others).
