Stretch Marks Prevention and Natural Remedies

Stretch marks are discernible linear marks which appear in regions of dermal impairment secreted by hormonal disparities which make the skin to gaunt and becomes vulnerable to shredding when it is stretched -out. Stretch marks form when the skin is extremely stretched such as in rapid weight gain, during physical activities particularly with weight lifting, in pregnancy and in spurt of growth during adolescence and puberty. Pathological endocrine conditions such as Cushing’s syndrome may stimulate the appearance of stretch marks. Prolonged use of drugs like progesterone and systemic cortisone are other factors contributing to the formation of stretch marks. Pregnant women are at a higher risk of forming stretch marks but stretch marks can sway just about anyone.

Stretch marks are typified by tapering of the dermis layer, in the midst of fine dermal collagen packs which the body lays to create sturdy bonds so as to hold the skin in concert where it was once cut as perceived in trauma or surgery. Stretch marks mostly form around the breast area, hips, abdomen and buttocks. The good news is that stretch scars can now be vetoed and treated using a naturally lively skin revitalizing serum produced by land snails (Crystomphalus aspersa) mostly found in Mediterranean areas. The serum is composed of complex protein, glucose molecules and glycoprotein enzymes. This serum is then combined with moisturizers, emulsifiers and emollients to create a skin care cream which is used to treat stretch marks.

The two creams commonly used to treat and prevent stretch marks are; Bioskinexfol™ and Bio stretch mark cream. The best way to avert and heal stretch marks is through a well balanced and healthy diet. Taking a lot of fluid will keep your body hydrated and enhance the production of collagen required for proper skin maintenance. Sufficient ingestion of Vitamins A, C, E, and zinc provides essential nutrients to the skin.  Foods rich in these minerals and vitamins include vegetables and fruits, leafy greens, beans, eggs, almond and other nuts, fish liver oils, and fish. Eating a well balanced diet containing all the above mentioned nutrients will keep you skin in good physical shape and free from stretch marks.

Another natural remedy for stretch marks is to apply olive oil on the affected areas until the stretch marks start to improve.  Aloe Vera gel is also well renowned for its soothing and remedial properties for burns.  It has been alleged to be a cure for stretch marks. A tender massage on areas mostly affected by stretch marks using cod liver oil or castor oil will help remove the marks.  Choose the ideal cure that suits your needs and taste and enjoy a radiant and stretch marks free skin.
