Things To Do In Las Vegas Nevada
How’s Las Vegas, Nevada?
My family is going to Las Vegas, in December. Around the 23rd.
Whats the weather like around that time?
How is the Caesar Palace, for a family of 5?
( children ages- 13,12,
Can anyone also give sights to see. Also family things to do!
Thanks!
Also what kind of clothing should we pack?
I have lived in Las Vegas, since I was five( 20 right now), and from my experience, the highs, are from the mid forties, to the upper fifties. Lows, range from the lower forties, to the upper twenties. Sometimes it is windy, and please take note of the fact that Las Vegas is dry, so bring lotion, and chap stick. Beanies, scarves and Jackets are good, plus gloves to keep your hands warm
The Caesars Palace is not a bad location for your family. It offers, a lot of shopping opportunities and dining experiences (forum shops). There is a free show, called the “The fall of Atlantis” Which is surrounded by an aquarium. There is also an exotic car show room there as well.
Some family friendly sites in Las Vegas are:
MGM Grand lion habitat= free
The sirens of T.I ( pirate ship battle) free
The water show at the Bellagio
Circus Circus Adventure dome, and their free circus show(acrobatics)
Venetian has Madame Tussauds Wax exhibit. It is full of life size Celebrity replicas
Mirage has Sigfreid and Roy’s Secret Garden, and dolphin habitat
Mandalay bay has The Shark Reef,
Luxor has an Imax theatre, and the Bodies exhibit ( real bodies that show organs etc)
New York New York, and the Sahara have roller coasters
Stratosphere has high rise thrill rides(almost a thousand feet off the ground).
You can find countless shows on the strip, from Cirque du Soleil to master magicians. Many shopping opportunities ( fashion show mall, miracle mile, forum. Canal shops etc)
Oh and be aware, that the Las Vegas strip is full of sexually explicit materials, and Downtown Las Vegas, is cheaper than the strip, on dining etc. and has free entertainment on the Freemont street experience. Oh and you might want to rent a car, because you are coming here on a very busy part of the year. Taxi cabs are overly priced, and the public transportation (the Duece double decker bus) is economical, but becomes very very crowded, and moves incredibly slow.
