My question about young people being loud in the theater.?
Hi–
I don’t know how some of you haven’t noticed how loud young people are in the show. They are plain obnoxious! The management at both the theaters here in Redding, California, is young, too, so they don’t care. Nothing is done about the loudness here, and they don’t hire a security guard or anyone to tame these kids in the theater. I’m not going to bother going to the theater any more unless maybe it’s on a Sunday afternoon when hardly anyone is there. All the parents want to do any more (because there IS no parenting any more!) is get their kids out of their hair, so they send them to the show or wherever so the parents don’t have to deal with the kids. That’s sad and makes it bad for everyone else! I told my son, who is 27 and has always been polite OR ELSE!), that if he ever did that, I would knock his block off, and he knows I will, too, with no problem! He told me that he hates it when kids are loud in the show, so why should he do that. NO MORE THEATER TICKETS!
Oh gosh you truly are NOT the only one. I hate, HATE HATE when these young kids are so loud through the whole movie!! What is truly the point of going to the movies if you’re going to talk and be so loud? Most of the time it’s young people are so excited to get out the house and act like they’ve never been anywhere. I really do think there should be security to kick out those people who are disturbing the entire theater.
