Wicked the Musical is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, and it’s the hottest show in theater again this year. You can always catch Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre in New York.
Wicked the Musical
The story involves the time before Dorothy dropped out of the sky, and into the Land of Oz. In this story, two friends grow up to be very different witches. One with emerald green skin, the Wicked Witch of the West, and the other, Glinda the Good Witch, who is beautiful and is loved by everyone.
The production runs about two and a half hours long, with a fifteen minute intermission, and is recommended for children eight years old, or older. The best view for Wicked the Musical is usually a few rows back in the orchestra section, or the first few rows of the lodge or balcony.
