Any cool pubs and bars near the Beacon Theater in New York City?
We’re coming in to see the Allman Brothers on Friday. Any cool pubs or bars with live music? Classic rock and stuff like that. Any other good recommendations for Saturday too? We can’t get Time Out NY here in Boston, but we’ll look on line. Just looking for some ideas for can’t-miss places. Thanks!
i can’t think of any particular places, but from the Beacon just walk over one block east to Amsterdam Avenue, start walking uptown, into the 70’s and 80’s, and eventually you’ll find something. there are plenty of bars going up that way…
