The Lion King In New York City
What do I wear in New York City?
I’m going to New York city the first weekend in June, and I have no idea what I should wear. First off, I’m a twelve year old. Secondly here are some of the things I’m doing, do any of them have a dress code?
-Lion King on Broadway
-Tavern on the Green
-Red Bus Tour
-Statue of Liberty
-Shopping
-(obviously,) walking around alot.
Are there any exact examples you could give me? I don’t want to go there and feel completey underdressed or overdressed and out of place. Thanks for your time!

You will see people of all types of dress in New York. Jeans and t-shirts are fine for the Statue of Liberty and other sightseeing in the daytime. Take something slightly dressier for the play and nice restaurants. A suit is not necessary but khaki slacks and a short sleeve button up shirt would be appropriate. Its a great city. Have fun!
