How do I make a real watermark?
Certain concert tickets and such have a watermark seal on them so you can’t make copies of them. I need to make some watermarks on some cards for a private reason. Anyone know how to make these? I tried asking at kinko’s and they said if you make the watermark on a file they can print it but I’m pretty sure they watermark isn’t about the digital aspect rather the printing aspect. So in short how can I make this and/or is there anywhere that can make this for me?
It’s not a true watermark but you could get a seal. Something like: http://www.customembossers.com/iconlogodesk.shtml
What it does is press a design into the paper … it doesn’t print it, it compresses the paper causing an indentation.
It’s not too expensive to get one of those.
