Prince Of Wales Theatre London

Is “Mamma mia!” understandable for someone who cannot really understand spoken English?

Hello everybody! :)
I’m currently studying in England and a friend of mine will come to visit me soon.
I would like to bring her to see the musical “Mamma mia!” in Prince of Wales Theatre, in London, cos the performance must be awesome: songs and dances; but she cannot really understand spoken English.
What I would like to know is whether the dialogues are so few that it is not really necessary to understand spoken English in order to enjoy the musical. Are there only songs? (I have never attended a musical before…)
Or do you think she will be bored?

With many thanks

Regards.

Benoît.

Even if your friend doesn’t understand English she will like the songs and both of you will have a good time. She certainly won’t be bored.
