Phantom of the Opera; Vegas?

So I’m getting married in April and we were thinking Vegas for a honeymoon… my husband to be LOVES Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, and Vegas happens to have that show play there. I was wondering if you have to be booked at the Venetian to see the performance (I’m guessing not…) or can we stay somewhere else and still see it? Second question is, do they play it year round or is it only for a set season? I found something online that the tickets are only around $50, is that right? That seems pretty cheap for such an amazing show…

Here the show is called Phantom The Las Vegas Spectacular. Andrew Lloyd Webber came here to redo the show. He personally supervised the shortened version to run only 90 minutes rather than the 2 1/2 hour original. Anyone can buy tickets no matter which hotel you are staying. If you can purchase tickets now for your visit I would do it at that price before they jump back up. All shows here have reduced their prices.
