Opera House Performances

what is this called in english? is it called overwhelm?

When i see something or hear something that is sooo good that i can’t express in words i get tears in my eyes. when i hear opera music that is soooo good (with all that high pitch and all you know what i am saying) , i can’t breath , i get a knot in my throat and i start crying. Also when i watch theatrical performance in huge opera houses i start crying because i find everything beautiful and so perfect that i cry with joy.

If the music is overwhelming (which is one correct way of saying it, yes) you can also say the music is “very moving” or that it touches your heart or even that it carries you away. That way, you have different things to say about different concerts. Music, when done really well, does that to me, too. I love it.

The Phantom of the Opera (Two-Disc Special Edition)

$9.99

Although it’s not as bold as Oscar darling Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera continues the resuscitation of the movie musical with a faithful adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s blockbuster stage musical. Emmy Rossum glows in a breakout role as opera ingĂ©nue Christine Daae, and if phantom Gerard Butler isn’t Rossum’s match vocally, he does convey menace and sensuality in such numbers as “The Musi…
