Why did the London Officials hate the Globe Theatre?
I need 11 reasons, around 5 or 6 will do. :p Thanks
OMg, I am 13 in 8th Grade and I had the EXACT same question!!! Even I needed 11 reasons. Here are a few that I got:
1. Officials didn’t like that people were having fun because back then they believed that people should be working all the time.
2. They didn’t like mixing the social classes, espically with the queen attending a large portion of the plays.
3. Officials were worried about disease spreding because this was the time of the Black plague.
4. Also, some of the play made fun of or went against the government and/or queen.
5. Controversial issues
6.Someplays ould offend churches.
