Off Broadway Show Ticket
Who has seen the musical Spring Awakening?
Ok, I live in New York so I’ve seen many musicals, and I love the music from Spring Awakening and a friend has seen the show. I’m trying to convince my parents to let me see it and it might end up being my christmas gift. Has anyone seen the musical? Was is good? Bad? Did you sit in on-stage seats? Is it worth seeing? Is it very inappropriate? I know it is going off broadway on Jan. 18 so I would kind of have to get tickets soon.
Oh and by the way, I’m 15. Turning 16 Jan. 15
um I don’t have socializing problems. actually I’m quite popular and you dont have to hate musicals to be cool. I’m sorry if you think I’m an outcast with absolutely no life because I can sing act and love to see musicals.
Sitting on stage is AMAZING! I just saw the show on Broadway for my first time two weeks ago. I sat in AA3, which is a seat next to a cast member. I would love to see the show again (I really want to sit in seat AA4- you sit next to Hunter Parrish for some of the show). I’d highly suggest for your first time sitting in one of the lower number seats on stage because you won’t miss as much and also you won’t be over powered by the drums, piano, etc. (here’s the onstage seating chart- http://forum.theguiltyones.org/index.php/topic,366.0.html )
I think you’ll love it and it is so worth seeing. It is not inappropriate for a 15, almost 16 year old. It deals with problems that we are still dealing with such as teen pregnancy, figuring out who you are, parent’s physically abusing children, and other issues like that.
I’d highly suggest seeing this amazing show before it closes on Broadway and sitting on stage. The experience of sitting on stage is something you can’t get from any other musical and after this show closes, won’t be available for any other musical on Broadway.
Hopefully you’ll be able to convince your parents and enjoy the show!!
