New York Broadway Tickets Wicked
Okay which of these Broadway plays will you see?
I’m planning on going to New York next summer and I know if I want to see a Broadway play I have to buy the tickets in advanced unless I want over charged tickets on Ebay but anyway I was trying to chose between the following plays:
Grease (Only if the same people are in the leads)
Hairspray
Legally Blonde
Wicked
Which one would you chose and if you have seen any of these please tell me how they are
First thing..check to see if any of these shows tours are coming to an area near you. The tours are just as good, and that will give you a chance to see a show that isn’t coming near you. I know Wicked has a tour and so does Hairspray. Being new show Legally Blonde doesn’t and niether does Grease.
If you want a guarenteed absolutey amazing show go see Wicked, the singing and acting is amazing, the sets and costumes are beautiful and the story is solid.
Hairspray is also amazing, really funny and a very light – hearted musical.
Grease is good. It’s a revival of a revival, it’s been do so many times, this cast is great but like I said it’s been done before.
Legally Blonde, I haven’t seen myself, but it’s depending on your taste. From what I’ve heard on the cd, the score is really good and the singing is great, but it might not work out on stage. Everyone seems to be divided on this one. It’s really just a bit of fluff, not really taking itself seriously.
So, my personal choice is Wicked, it truely is amazing. If you choose Hairspray be warned, it is not going to be like the movie, neither is Grease. Treat them as seperate entities.
Also, like others have said, do not buy tickets off ebay. They are not reliable, if you do want cheaper tickets, look on the shows website, sometimes they have discounts. Always make sure you have tickets from a reliable source.
