MacBeth/ Lyceum Theater/Broadway/NYCity – is there a stage exit to meet actors after performance?
I am going to see MacBeth in the Lyceum Theater on Broadway in New York City this weekend. Afterwards, I would like to be part of a ‘crowd’ to congratulate the actors for their performance. Does anyone know of a stage exit that the performers use? Where do you best line up to see the performers leave?
The “Stage Door” is something I just recently heard about and have not been able to experience yet. It is a door into the theatre that the cast members use to enter end exit the building. I have heard they are somewhat hard to find, although I doubt that will be a problem in New York. I myself would enjoy the adventure and go looking. Just walk around the building and look for an interesting door. Or you could ask someone who works at the theatre, although I don’t advise this just because I’ve heard some places say they discourage getting autographs and such that way. I hear it takes about a half hour after the show for the cast members to come out. I am looking forward to getting my next playbill signed!!! Good luck and enjoy!!!
