makin a speech and i need some information about broadway (new york…. musicals)
i do
but before i spill everything i know
i think you should take some initiative and research it for yourself.
there are way to many broadway facts out there to give at random
you have to know the story begining to the now to understand them
and i think whatever your speech is, should be based on a specific broadway period such as
classical period- anything before 1920 (the follies ect.)
early- 1920’s-1940s (shows like girl crazy, showboat ect.)
standard- 1950s-1980’s (west side story, kiss me kate ect.)
contemperary- 1980’s-1990’s ( jesus christ super star, secret garden)
new contemperary- basically now ( wicked, hairspray ect.)
