Well, I had to forfeit the ticket since there were no responses here or in several other forums I post. I returned the ticket to the Met box office so it could be resold. Of course there are no refunds, so it was considered a “donation.” I purchased the last Prime Orchestra ticket for next Saturday’s performance, which was the least expensive ticket left – that is how much I want to see Plácido Domingo and this opera. I’ve been waiting since last year to see it!
I saw it at the first night last year – someone should take it it will be a great experience, it a very origional opera and stars Plácido Domingo. Its conducted by the composer Tan Dun which makes the evening very special. If you take it I’ll tell you how I got into a fist fight at the world premier, I promise.
