Phantom of The Opera?
Hi, I’m hoping to see Phantom of the opera next week in london, but I’d like to see it with Ramin Karimloo…does anyone know if he is still in the show or has he left? Thank you. 
There are two different websites you can check for Phantom of the Opera casting information.
1. You can check http://london.broadway.com/ and on the right hand side click Phantom of the Opera. Now, this site is good, but isn’t always up to date. But, if you want general information on West End musicals, this is the place to go.
2. You can check http://www.thephantomoftheopera.com/ and when the pull up menu comes up, select london. This is the BEST place to check for up to date information on the Phantom of the Opera.
Now, you can also check Ramin’s website, http://www.raminkarimloo.net but that’s a bit out of date. Your best bet would be the Phantom of the Opera website.
From all of these websites, you can see that Ramin is still in the show. Now, he plans to leave soon to be in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequel for the Phantom of the Opera (called Love Never Dies). But, for now, he is still in the show.
But, Ramin has an alternate for the Phantom (meaning, one or two days a week, he does not perform as the Phantom, another man does. This is because the Phantom is an extremely taxing role, on both the voice and the body. An alternate gives the lead a day or two off so that they can relax and still perform their best.) So, if you want to be 100% sure about him performing on the day you have chosen, call the box office,

They will let you know if Ramin is scheduled to perform the day you have chosen or not.
Now, keep in mind, no matter if he is performing on the day you choose, he may have an understudy. You are never guaranteed the EXACT cast. But, there is a good chance that if Ramin is performing that day, you will most likely get him as your Phantom.
