Lion King On Broadway Ticket Prices

Need Help Choosing show!!!?

Hi
Me and my wife are going for a Holiday in England this Christmas and we’r spending the last 3 days in London…So while we’r there we thought of going to see a Broadway show!
But its really hard to choose:
The top 3 on our list are The Lord of the Rings, Wicked and The Lion King..Which do you think is best?
Besides that i have another question…I really don’t have an idea where to buy the tickets…I know i can find them on-line but a friend of mine said that i can get them for a cheap price if i just go there before the show starts…Is it possible to find tickets that late or its better to get them before??

I Haven’t seen any of those shows – all are reported to be excellent (but off to see Hairspray next week). As for tickets, over the Christmas period, a lot of the shows could be booked up in advance. If you are willing to take the risk, then there is a half price ticket booth in Leicester Square (pronounced Lester – not Lie cest er!) I am not certain, but I think on the bigger musicals, the cheaper tickets are still quite expensive as they reduce slightly the most expensive seats. If you want to be certain of proper prices, then you could book via the shows websites. You will more than likely be charged a booking fee, but that is better than missing out altogether.

Have linked to the show websites and info on the ticket booth in Leicester Square.

If you want to see a Broadway Show, I believe you need to go to New York. In London, however, you get to see a West End Show!

Hope you have a lovely time.
