European Concert Tickets
What should I do about these two events? Brothers son Baptisms and concert might be on same day?
My brother had his second baby not that long ago and they are planning a baptism but they dont know yet because his wife wants her sister to get here from Europe and be the godmother. They think that maybe on September 26th but nothing is for sure. Me and my husband are planning on buying tickets to a show that might sell out fast tomorrow and it is also on the 26th of September. What do you think we should do? I dont see why we cant plan something and go to a concert since I dont know when they are planning the baptism and they are not sure themselves. I cant wait till the last minute because the concert might sell out and there probably wont be another chance to go as I myself am pregnant, and these are European Bands. I really want to go. What do you think? We can still make it to the church ceremony and probably to some of the dinner, but not through the whole party. What will I tell him when we get the invite and its the same date? Any advice would be appreciated?
Since they do not know themselves when the baptism will be it would not be wrong of you to plan whatever you want. But if it does end up being on the same day and you see you do have time to go to at least the baptism you should go. You can tell then also when you receive the invite that you have made plans for that day and you will not be able to stay for the whole celebration. There is nothing wrong with having previous plans. Your brother should not expect people to drop things just for him. He should have planed in advance.Enjoy your concert and good luck.
