im going to london soon is there anywhere i can get cheap theatre tickets on the day?
Like most people have said, head for Leicester Square.
The official cheap ticket vendor is called “tkts” and is in a little hut in Leicester Square itself. Most tickets are sold at half-price, plus a £2.50 booking fee.
Beware that the ticket shops next to the Underground station are different, privately-run places. Don’t get them mixed up with the real thing!
If you have web access while you’re visiting, the tkts website lists what they’re selling each day.
