Where can i get really cheap theater tickets??

I really would like some less than $65 if possible….boston or sumthing

It’s going to depend on where you want to see a show. There is no centralized ticket vendor that sells tickets to every theatre in every big city in the country. “Boston or something” is probably not specific enough to begin a search.

First, pick a city. Then, use the internet or local newspaper to find a show you want to see. Big-name touring musicals are going to be pricey, yes, but local theatres don’t generally charge $65 unless you’re in New York City.

Some cities, like mine, have a half-price ticket discounter, but you have to know who to ask. They’ll probably be able to tell you about the discounter if you call the theatres themselves. If not, theatres often sell their leftover tickets the day of the show–a matter of hours or minutes before it starts. Ask the theatre about this–you are interested in “standby” or “last-minute” seats.
