The website said i can purchase “standby tickets” 30 minutes before the screening.
What are standby tickets and how do they work?
Is it easy to get it?
Some films that i want to watch at the BFI London Film Festival 2010 are fully booked. Is there any alternatives to get the ticket?
Do some people buy it and sell it online or outside the theater?
Plus i know that on Oct 8 there will be some more tickets available.

Standby tickets are tickets that have either not sold or have been returned. These are offered for sale at a discount to people by the box office shortly before the show.
‘In most cases standby tickets aren’t available until about an hour before the show, though some theatres will sell them earlier in the day, or even a day in advance. Phone or visit the theatre and ask of they’re likely to have standby — they’ll give you an honest answer.’
