Broadway Tickets Nyc Wicked

Weekend Getaway in NYC . . .?

I am going on a weekend trip to NYC. We already have tickets to Wicked on Broadway, but are looking for other fun things to do – asside from the usual sights (Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, etc.). We are staying on 5th Avenue – one block from Times Square.

What else is a “must see”. We’re only there for the weekend, so we don’t want to spend 1/2 the day on a sight-seeing tour.

I don’t know if you’re a theatre person, but if you are – definitely go “stage dooring.” After you see Wicked, go to the stage door imediately after the show and have the cast sign your playbill/poster and take pictures. It’s SO much fun!

If you’re looking at the front doors of the Gershwin, the stage door will be behind you to the left and just around the corner.

If there’re any stars you like that are currently in shows, you can stage door for their shows without going to the play/musical.

I only get to go to NYC every blue moon (as I live in GA) and the thing to do for me is theatre. You’ve already got tix to one show, but if you want to see another check out TKTS in Times Square to get cheap tix to another show.
