Broadway Ticket Waiting Line
What is the best way to buy broadway tickets in advance?
I’m looking to buy tickets for Chicago on broadway, probably for a Saturday in January. I know it is cheaper to buy them the day of, but that won’t work for me. Is there any “best” way to buy tickets in advance? I am aware that ticketmaster and broadway.com sell tickets and add the extra fees, but is there another place/way to buy in advance that might be cheaper? Also, if it turns out that things change and I am able to buy tickets the day of, how long is the wait in line and what are the chances of Chicago being sold out?
you could check on ebay. Also, I know ticketmaster has fees and stuff, but if you go to broadwaybox.com they have coupon codes for ticketmaster, and you can get much better seats for a really good price. If you’re going on a saturday, and you want to get tickets the day of the show, you should get to the box office by the time they open, even if you want to go to the evening showing. Chicago has been out for a while so you probably wouldn’t get sold out.
