Broadway Ticket Center Nyc
Going to NYC in October – need ideas on must-do’s (see, shop, eat, etc.).?
I’m going with my mother and it will be the first time for us to go. Anyone have ideas for an itinerary? We get in at noon on Thursday and leave Monday morning. So we want to pack in as much of the city as we can. We’re staying at Marriott East Side, how is the vicinity to restaurants, shops, and sights?
We definately want to hit all the tourist spots (Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Central Park). I also want to see a broadway show, any suggestions on which one and where to buy tickets. Shopping? We like a good bargain, and I would like to go stores I don’t have back home. Restaurants? I want to go to at least one fancy restaurant, a really great pizza spot, somewhere in Little Italy and/or Chinatown.
Also how’s the weather in October? We’re from Hawaii, so even 70 degrees is quite chilly for us. But I’d like to take a walk through Central Park and admire the fall foliage. Suggestions on routes and which are to see.
Any suggestions would be great! THX
One cool thing that you should do is walk across the Brooklyn bridge. They have a pedestrian bike path in the center of the bridge and the view is amazing. Once on the Brooklyn side, there is a great pizza spot close by. Just ask some one – New Yorkers are friendlier that most out of towner’s think. One is Grimaldi’s on Fulton. There is another close by – either way, you can’t go wrong.
Enjoy you trip! If you have any further questions or need help once you are here, just email me – should be displayed.
