Broadway Shows Nyc Discount

Visiting NYC in a week and it looks like rain. Any suggestions on getting around and what to do?

I will be with my friend and our moms. We will be doing a little shopping too. Any suggestions on discount shopping or fabulous sales welcome! But no broadway shows please! We’ll get there at noon and probably leave close to 10 (bus group).

Discount shopping – Century 21 (across the street from the World Trade Center site). If you plan on stopping by, I would suggest that you go in the early morning to avoid the crowds.

Since it’s going to be raining, you can visit the many museums in the city. Here’s a list of them:

Avoid trying to hail a cab in rainy weather. It’ll be almost impossible. Instead, pick up a train map at any train station and an unlimited fun pass metrocard. It’ll be cheaper than paying for each trip. The trains can take you just about anywhere you need to go. The map highlights some of the NYC landmarks.
