Seating at theatres in new york?
Is it important to sit in an orchestra seat when watching a play on broadway? My sister and I are going to NYC in December and want to watch a show however the seats are v.v.expensive!! But, as it is a one off trip I am willing to pay the extra if you can’t see anything from the side seats… also any advice on cheaper ticket outlets would be appreciated – however as it is the week before Christmas I don’t want to be left high and dry. Thanks in advance
You usually can see fine from the side and from the upper decks, but be aware if the seat does say partial view (they mean it). If you don’t get the tickets in advance, you can try the TKTS booth located in Times Square, there you can usually get tickets for Half-price, but supply might be limited that week.
