Broadway Musicals New York City
I’m visiting New York City next year, i want to see times square, Broadway musical, statue of Liberty,?
central park, ground zero, zoo and empire state building. How much money must i need? I’m staying in NY for 2 weeks.
Since you’re staying for 2 weeks, you should have a daily budget of about $100 per day. This translate to about $1400. You may have something left over at the end of the day, but it is better to have enough with you rather than running short and having a miserable vacation.
If you are going shopping, it is recommend you have around $500 set aside for this. The shopping in New York is fantastic and you will get great deals.
I hope this information is very helpful.
Good luck

Newsies $4.55 Arguably one of the oddest films to emerge from the modern Disney Entertainment empire, this scrappy 1992 live-action musical tells the tale of a turn-of-the-last-century labor uprising among New York City’s newsboys (or “Newsies”)–an especially ironic topic given the Mouse House’s own historical labor relations problems. It was also a valiant attempt to revive the glory days of the Hollywood mus… |

Evita (1978 Original Broadway Cast) $19.97 Evita was Andrew Lloyd Webber’s last show with Tim Rice before he went on to projects with less interesting collaborators, so it’s no surprise that it remains his most consistently involving and rewarding work. Loosely based on the life of Eva Peron, the charismatic wife of post-World War II Argentine president Juan Peron, Rice’s compelling story of one woman’s rise from poverty to power is comple… |

The Producers $14.95 Mel Brooks’s directorial debut remains both a career high point and a classic show business farce. Hinging on a crafty plot premise, which in turn unleashes a joyously insane onstage spoof, The Producers is powered by a clutch of over-the-top performances, capped by the odd couple pairing of the late Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder, making his screen debut. Mostel is Max Bialystock, a gone-to-seed Br… |

Sondheim: The Birthday Concert $8.74 Sondheim! The Birthday Concert is a historic tribute to the Broadway work of Stephen Sondheim that took place in New York’s Avery Fisher Hall in March 2010. That’s 25 years after a similar all-star concert, Follies in Concert, was held in the same venue, also with Paul Gemignani conducting the New York Philharmonic, and the song list and parade of stars seems intended to evoke those memories. But … |

Hair $7.19 The Age of Aquarius is brought to life by the filmmaker who made Amadeus a household word. Milos Forman directed this version of James Rado, Gerome Ragni, and Galt MacDermot’s landmark musical in 1979 between his Oscar-winning films One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Amadeus. With mixed reviews (Gene Siskel named it that year’s best film) and lukewarm box-office grosses, the film all but disappea… |
