What’s the best way to get a good deal on last minute Broadway show tickets in NYC?
Is there such thing as tickets sold cheap at the last minute in case the show isn’t sold out? If so, how do I get them?
Go to TKTS (see http://www.tdf.org/TDF_ServicePage.aspx?id=56 ) for ~1/2 price tickets. The one in South Street Seaport is usually less crowded and has the same tickets available. Check out the times the booths are open to see which works better for your schedule.
DO NOT buy tickets from scalpers near the TKTS booths, the tickets are usually fakes. 
You can also try the box office the day of the show. Often tickets are returned. Finally, you can wait in line right before the show in the hopes tickets will become available.
