what is the best way to buy cheap basketball tickets?

im in denver on feb 23, and i know the nuggets are playing. should i wait and try to purchase them at the door, or should i order them online now? the cheaper the better, and i only need two.

HELLO! I have done this a LOT OF TIMES, and the FIRST answer was good, but NOT enough information for you.

You must scout out the scalpers, know where they are, know what they do, how they move, who their friends are. Watch them, and if you don’t mind getting into the game after the tip-off, that is when the tickets REALLY GO DOWN in price! Perhaps even HALF PRICE!
You might miss the first 5 minutes of the first period, but that is NOT when the game is decided anyway. Ask the scalper for their BEST DEAL. TALK TO SEVERAL SCALPERS to know what the range of prices are…Only deal with someone you can trust!

Otherwise, there is ebay (local people usually use that for local events tickets). If you don’t have the patience to wait…

Finally, go to the Box Office window on GAME DAY! Meet the people picking up their tickets. More times then not, somebody might NOT get to the game with their friends and they have to sell or give those tickets away.

I have been standing in line to buy the cheapest tickets to a Golden State Warriors game when a man came up, asked if I could use 2 tickets, and I was honest and said yes (I would have paid him face value), he gave them to me and said, “ENJOY THE GAME, maybe one day you will do the same for someone else”.
And I have!
It feels great to not only get tickets, but to give them away is an absolute BLAST! Watch the expressions of the very thankful recipients!!! God blesses those who give!!!
