1 2 Off Broadway Tickets
How do I buy Broadway theater tickets?
I want to go see a Broadway show, which I’ve never done in my life. The show’s web page’s “buy tickets” link takes me to Ticketmaster, but that doesn’t have as good a seats as I want, and doesn’t let me choose at all (I simply pick the section I want, and it tells me only one option for that section, take it or leave it). Other sites seem to let me be more choosy; they let you choose by section AND row, but then it doesn’t tell me the seat! So maybe I’m in a better row, off in the corner, who knows?
And plus, how do I know what ticket sales website to trust, it all seems very sketchy to me.
So my question:
1. What are some ticket sales sites to trust, or how can I tell, or maybe I’m just being paranoid?
2. How do I tell, once I’ve picked a row, section, or am about to purchase the tickets, what the actual seat numbers are, or is it supposed to be a surprise once you get there? That seems odd to me.
